Project Lead (Capstone Author)- Kartikey Singh
I lead the research synthesis, framework design, prototype development, and portal production. I focus on turning governance requirements into stakeholder-facing communication tools.
Even when one person builds a project, a governance portal should show how roles work in a real institution. I use this role-based model to demonstrate accountability clearly:
1) Stewardship Owner (Program Lead)
I define what ethical data stewardship means for this project and ensure the portal communicates it clearly to patients, clinicians, and institutions.
2) Privacy & Data Protection Lead
I define data minimization rules, access boundaries, retention standards, and sharing limits. I ensure that consent language aligns with actual data practices.
3) Fairness & Monitoring Lead
I define fairness expectations, monitoring routines, and documentation requirements to detect and respond to bias over time.
4) Audit & Accountability Lead
I define what gets logged, how versioning is documented, and how accountability stays traceable through audit trails.
5) Incident Response & Recourse Lead
I define incident categories, response steps, notification standards, and recourse timelines so users know what happens after a report.
Why do I include this? I include a role-based model to prove that accountability is not abstract. It belongs to named responsibilities that can be operationalized.
I align this portal’s governance logic with widely recognized guidance:
World Health Organization guidance on ethics and governance for AI in health.
National Institute of Standards and Technology AI Risk Management Framework concepts (risk, governance, monitoring, documentation).
I’m looking for curious, responsible collaborators who want to help build ethical and transparent AI systems for mental health.
You might come from digital media, UX/UI, policy, ethics, data, AI, or healthcare-related fields. You don’t need deep technical expertise what matters most is an interest in trust, accountability, and human-centred design.
Teammates may help with research, design, governance tools, transparency content, or visual communication. This is a collaborative, portfolio-worthy project grounded in ethical practice.
If you care about how AI should work not just how it works I’d love to connect.
